Existence (God) Dimension

Existence [Asthittva] is everything. Existence is nothing. Existence is contradictory.  All these statements are true.

Instead of using the word God, I am using Existence, because the moment we say God, lot of prejudice, belief and opinions come.

Having said the above, it means Existence has infinite dimensions. Each Enlightened Master takes or follows one dimension through which they have been enlightened, because they know that path.

Let us understand few dimensions of Existence. Some of these dimensions can be easily understood via our sensory organs.  Read the following statements very slowly and carefully.

1. Divine Sound [Dhwani]:

We can hear sound via our ears. Science says a source is always needed to create sound, e.g. when we clap our hands there is a sound. So a person who is not deaf, then they can hear sounds. But existence is Sound [Omkar] [Anhad], a source less sound,   which is always there. Any person when they get connected to Existence, they can hear it. Not only they can hear it, they become one with it. Even a deaf person can hear and become one with it. 

It is sound of one hand clapping. Difficult to comprehend, but true. We only understand anything via mind. This can be realized, when we drop our mind.

In the Bible it is said, There was a word, then the world came.(something sort of this). This word is nothing but the source less sound which it is referring. Guru Nanak, Meera Bai followed this path.

Then a question comes into our mind, why a normal person cannot hear it. Because our consciousness is focused outward. Just move inwards and you will be able to connect with existence [Sound] 

The source less Divine Sounds are as follows:

• Humming sound of bees
• Sound of anklets (worn on a woman's feet)
• Sound of conch 
• Sound of gong
• Sound of trumpet-blast
• Sound of flute
• Sound of Bhir
• Sound of drum beat[mridang]
• Sound of Shahnai [Naferi]
• Sound of lions roar

2. Divine Light [Prakash]:

Similarly as sound through ears, we can see via our eyes only. Existence is Light [Prakash][Alok], a sourceless light. Any person when they get connected to Existence, they can see it. Even a blind person can see it.

We cannot see (feel) it, because, it’s like we are facing towards the sun and keeping our eyes closed. Open your inner eyes (not your physical eyes).

The source less Divine Light are as follows:

• Violet
• Indigo
• Blue
• Green
• Yellow (Golden)
• Orange
• Red (Ochre, a shade of red)
• White - All colors are present
• Black - No colors present

3. Divine Touch [Sparsh]

Similarly there is existential touch. A touch without touching we can feel. A source less touch.

4. Divine Taste [Swadh]

Similarly there is existential taste. Without tongue(taste buds) we can taste it. That doesn’t mean we should kill our taste buds. With tongue also you can feel it, but without anything put on the tongue. A source less taste.

5. Divine Fragrance [Gandh]

Similarly there is divine fragrance. Even without any object surrounding us, we can smell the divine fragrance. A source less fragrance. (Mohammed the Muslim prophet followed this path). Therefore Muslim people put [Ittar].

6. Divine Energy [Urja]

Similarly there is divine energy. This is one of the most interesting aspect which is easier to feel. A source less energy.

7. Divine Intoxication [Khummari]

People enjoy getting intoxicated through drugs, liquors etc. But you will be surprised that we can get intoxicated even without these external mediums. With external mediums we become unconscious but with divine intoxication, we enjoy the intoxication with full awareness. It is a source less intoxication. 

We might have seen Enlightened person are in a blissfull intoxicated state (e.g. Ramkrishna Paramhans). This is it.  

8. Divine Nectar [Amrit]

Divine Nectar means consciousness which never dies. It has no beginning and no end. Our real permanent self. Refer Out of Body Experience

Key Points:

We can connect with Existence through any of the above divine dimensions of existence. Everyone has one of the faculties more active than the other. E.g. Some people’s ear are very sharp as compared with their other sensory organs. Even the slightest sound they can hear. For them they can get connected to existence via sound. They only have to listen inwards.
